KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) holding a rally to show their solidarity with their Quaid Altaf Hussain on New M.A. Jinnah Road near the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam on Sunday here, Geo News reported.
MQM sources said that a mammoth gathering of the people from all walks of life including the MQM workers, members of Rabita Committee, office-bearers of the party, members of national and provincial assemblies besides the senators of the party are expected to join the grand rally to show their complete solidarity and support to the party Chief Altaf Hussain.
Members of MQM Rabita Committee and office-bearers of the party are seen busy in giving a final touch to the huge arrangements made for the gathering.
The MQM is holding the rally on the heels of a BBC report over the murder of Dr Imran Farooq. In a news conference on Thursday, the party’s leadership said that Altaf Hussain was victim of a media trial.
